The National Institute for Defense Studies (NIDS) disseminates results of its research for the purposes of; contributing to enhancement of academic activities on security issues by being represented at numerous research seminars in the field; and contributing to mutual understanding and trust by encouraging discussion with / among security experts through its dissemination efforts. This is why NIDS publishes its research outcomes and hosts open conferences.
